Reached the airport, had popeyes for lunch. Cocacola sent us off and more other youths, love you guys ttm. Went into the departure hall rather early, so we shopped and camwhore quite a bit. Plane ride was considerably scary, hahaha. But anyway, the food served was great! Though i wanted fish with pasta and they only had chicken with pasta or fish with rice. ZXZXZX.
Reached Phnon Phen airport and really thank God that the clearing of custom was a breeze. :) Met Uncle Jacob who then brought us to Harvest Inn. Just as we were getting ready to set out for our first meal in Cambodia, ANDY REALISED HE HAD LEFT HIS BAGGAGE IN THE AIRPORT. Gosh, that was like... oh crapzxzx. But God showed us His mercy yet again, and Andy managed to find it back. :)
We had dinner around 9 plus at some Thai Restaurant where we had to sit on the floor. Everything was good, except that my legs were numbed. :/ Oh, we sat Tuktuk there and back which was totally exhilarating. The cool breeze smacked right straight into your face and you felt as though it was the best day of your life. hahahahahahaha.
Devotion was at the guy's recreation room, prayed for the next day and slept, recharging our energy for the next day.

Breakfast was some tradition food that the Khmers eat, something different from the Singapore's culture. Andy brought us to the Tuol Sieng genocide museum and then to Wat Phnom, the tallest religious structure in the city. Had lunch and we went to the central market because andy challenged us to eat..... fried crickets. Ughhhhhh, for obvious reasons, i didn't accept the challenge. :/ Gross to the core of the max of the core. Anyway, we had coconut icecream later! This is one decent food, aint it. :) Went back to HI where we coloured and cut papers which were needed for the next day's puppet show. &because it was Coen's birthday, we had our dinner at a korean restaurant. The dish of peanuts served still leaves me longing for it the most. :)

Our first day of mission at Learning Lab. The day started off with worship, followed by colourings. Wow, i had an epiphany that kids can sure colour well. We then performed magic tricks and show them our puppet show. (Y) I love our puppet show. really. one day, we should record it down and upload it to youtube. HEH. Oh, and this kid called WieEe totally captivated my heart. He's such a dear. :) Lunched at Russian Market, where we managed to get the taste of the famous ice coffee everyone is talking about. HEAVENLY TASTING.
back to HI, played Russ' game of Sabotuer. It was a great time of bonding because it included everyone, except for the fact that jonathan was miles away sleeping on my bed. Dinner was at Thimoda restaurant, where we got to interact with Aunty Claire and Uncle Kevin, and of course Titus and teddy (?) tabbi as well.
Back to HI, where the girls really chilled in our own dorm by having our own worship session which got us so high that we went insane. Hahahaha, then it was another debrief, devotion and lights out. But.. no! the night was still young! grace started puking and andy had to make an overseas call to Dr Ang for advice. The experience of watching her suffer was heart wrenching. ): But this was also when we saw God at work again, because all went well soon after. :)

Day 2 of mission at an orphanage called Care for Cambodia. We were blessed so much by the kids there. Just one day spent with them and the bond with each single one of them felt like it had been there for years. (Y) This random girl suddenly came and hold my hand towards the end of the day, despite not much interaction before and it really felt she was my close friend ever. Like, wow. People there were so real, conspicuously unpolluted by any deleterious society norms or whatsoever. Pleasureful place on earth, i'll have to say. The day ended with tears condensing like fountains and i really hate leaving that place. ): One day, we shall all go there again alright. Lucky burger's burgers were takeaways dinner. Oh right, complementing that were the cinnamon bread and muffins from breakfast. Dontwastefoodespwhenyou'reinCambodia FTW :)

Traveled to Takhmao Trinity Methodist Church for service. Though the songs were in Khmer, but they were sure pleasing to God and to our ears. :) The kek thing was, the songs we knew were side by side to what they sang. Ugh. Oh well, we can't always get things we want in life, can we. Hahahaha, sorry i'm talking a whole lot of random stuffs cause i can foresee this day is gonna be a short entry because i didn't join the rest that went for boat trip (!!!). ): Okay, so after service, i went back to HI in a ultra fast tuktuk to sleep. Because apparently and rather unfortunately, i was running a slight fever. :/ Dinner was at a rather dark restaurant, which was rather sedating, now that i recalled of. &i kinda secretly felt that it was more for sleeping instead. Not forgetting to mention the cryptic floor which looked wet that disturbingly, wasn't the case. Some optical illusion i supposed. See how much your eyes can trick you. Tsk.

SHOPPING SPREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE at the Russian and Central markets FTW. Handphone pouches, wallet, keychains, pens, diesel bag, original fake shirts, shades were bought. Period. :)
Yay, then back in Singapore where this photo, which now evokes nostalgia, was taken. (Y)

YM MISSION TEAM FTW.
